18th Successful Coordination & Organization of Nanotechnology 2021 Event (Virtual & Live) at Thessaloniki
2021 was the 18thconsecutive year that NANOTECHNOLOGY 2021 took place with great success.
Under this multi - events everal International Scientific, Technological land Business Events on Nanotechnologies, Flexible Organic Electronics and Nanomedics took place from the 3rd till the 10th of July and were organized both with physical and virtual presentations at the Porto Palace Conference Center at Thessaloniki.

Several important people were present at the event like, internationally recognized scientists, politicians and representatives of related associations, that shape up the financial and political actions in Greece, experienced specialists from business sector, young scientists and startuppers participated in several meetings and networking events that took place in parallel with the Congress and the Exhibition.

ΝΑΝΟΤΕΧNOLOGY
2021 inanational effort and opportunity for the promotion and utilization of new Technologies, Innovation & Business which is organized annually at Thessaloniki.
Details:
- NN21 contained 227 presentations from 38 countries
- ISFOE21 contained 132 presentations from 32 countries
- I3D21 contained 120 presentations from 27 countries
- At ISSON21 participated 45 students from 25 countries, with 29 Poster presentations
- At EXPONANOTEXNOLOGY participated more than 20 exhibitors
- Matchmaking event hosted 46 meetings
The goal of the Event was binary: Contacting researchers, scientists and entrepreneurs related with the field of Nanotechnologies, worldwide, and promote the recent innovations that are created in this sector.

The opening of the event of NANOTEXNOLOGY 2021 was made by the representative of the Prime Minister of the Greek Government, Deputy Minister of Digital Policy George Stylios, while the work of the Conference was greeted by the Rector of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Nikolaos G. Papaioannou and the Rector of the Faculty Professor Theodoros Theodoulidis.

Speakers at the main event of the Conference were three world-class scientists who analyzed the rapid scientific developments that change our daily lives:
- Dr Nello Li Pira from the FIAT Research Center, spoke about the developments in the automotive industry,
- Eugenia Kumacheva, professor at the University of Toronto, referred to the new material on "Filling the Void Between Molecules and Nanoparticles"
- And Professor George Malliaras from the University of Cambridge spoke about Bioelectronics and the treatment of serious brain diseases.
The main event of NANOTEXNOLOGY 2021 was attended by, among others, the Deputy Regional Governor of Central Macedonia Costas Gioutikas, the Rector of PDM Theodoros Theodoulidis, the Vice Rector of AUTh Charalambos Feidas and the Deputy of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Kostas Michailidis.
The Deputy Minister of Development and Investment, Christos Dimas, started the two workshops on green energy, hydrogen and nanotechnology applications in greenhouses.

The Greek "smart" bus stop, the innovative energy and lighting systems for large and smaller surfaces with new type light, flexible and environmentally friendly photovoltaics made in our country won the impressions of the representatives of the Government, such as the deputies of New Democracy of Thessaloniki Dimitris Kouvelas and Stratos Simopoulos, the Deputy Regional Governors of Central Macedonia Costas Gioutikas and Angelos Charisteas, the Mayor of Neapolis Sykeon Simos Daniilidis, who visited the Exhibition as well as many businessmen from the area of Thessaloniki.

As the Mayor of Thessaloniki characteristically emphasized, "the digital transformation that is completed with the Cisco Innovation Hub, the Center for Innovative Applications that is made for the benefit of all of us" is extremely important, while he stated impressed, saying that "we are lucky to have the Laboratory of Nanotechnology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Professor Stergios Logothetidis with his collaborators who create these products".

"This is where the future of our country is created and it fills us with hope and optimism", stressed Mr. Daniilidis, stating that scientists and companies from our region are pioneers in the field of nanotechnology. He stressed that the local government will and continue to support this effort on a daily basis.

NANOTEXNOLOGY 2021
NANOTEXNOLOGY 2021 will take place on 3-10 July 2021 in Thessaloniki, Greece. Once again this year, NANOTEXNOLOGY 2021 will be a Hybrid event, combining both Live (On-site) and Virtual (On-line) presentations and participation.
In the frame of NANOTEXNOLOGY 2021, HOPE-A will participate in special Workshops to enhance its Clustering Activities such as those on “Open Innovation and Standardization” and “European Projects”. Moreover, HOPE-A will participate with its own booth in EXPO21 to attract relevant stakeholders, creating opportunities for new collaborations.

Press Conference by LTFN
A National hybrid Press Conference (on-line & live) organized by our member LTFN took place earlier today at Porto Palace Hotel (NANOTEXNOLOGY 2021 venue). LTFN presented at the public media the successful finalization of Η2020 EC Projects SmartLine and CORNET and also the promotion of running H2020 projects (RealNano, FF2S, MUSICODE, nanoMECommons) and their innovations. Also, the NANOTEXNOLOGY 2021 events that will take place 3-10 July (on-line & live) were presented, and our members OET and BL Nanobiomed talked about their innovative products that will be exhibited to EXPO21. A large number of representatives from the national and local government as well as collaborating industrial entities from Greece and Europe (e.g. Fiat, Coatema, etc) participated and interacted with the media representatives.

ΠΡΟΣΚΛΗΣΗ ΓΕΝΙΚΗΣ ΣΥΝΕΛΕΥΣΗΣ
Πρόσκληση σε Τακτική Γενική Συνέλευση των μελών του Σωματείου, βάση του άρθρου 23.3 του καταστατικού, στις 28/6/2021 ημέρα Δευτέρα στο Porto Palace Hotel (28ης Οκτωβρίου 65, Θεσσαλονίκη 546 28) ώρα 17:00.
Σε περίπτωση μη απαρτίας κατά την πρώτη σύγκλιση, εάν δηλαδή δεν παρίσταται σε αυτήν το ένα δεύτερο (1/2) τουλάχιστον του όλου αριθμού των οικονομικά τακτοποιημένων τακτικών μελών του Σωματείου (άρθρο 24.1), συνέρχεται χωρίς άλλη διατύπωση η Γενική Συνέλευση στον ίδιο τόπο, την ίδια μέρα και ώρα της επόμενης εβδομάδας 05/07/2021 ημέρα Δευτέρα ώρα 17.00 κατά την οποία είναι αρκετός οποιοσδήποτε αριθμός παρόντων οικονομικά τακτοποιημένων τακτικών μελών (άρθρο 24.2).
Θέματα της Γενικής Συνέλευσης:
- Εκλογή Νέου Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου και Εξελεγκτικής Επιτροπής ως ορίζει το καταστατικό (άρθρο 20) μετά το πέρας της διετούς θητείας.
- 2. Οικονομικός απολογισμός συνοδευόμενος από την έκθεση της Εξελεγκτικής Επιτροπής
- 3. Απολογισμός δράσης του Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου και προγραμματισμός δράσης της νέας περιόδου
- 4. Άλλα θέματα - Ανακοινώσεις
Οικονομική Τακτοποίηση:
Ενημερώνονται όλα τα μέλη πως δικαίωμα συμμετοχής στη Γενική Συνέλευση έχουν τα οικονομικά τακτοποιημένα μέλη, γι’ αυτό παρακαλείστε να τακτοποιήσετε τις οικονομικές σας διαφορές. Για διευκόλυνσή των μελών και με γνώση της δύσκολης περιόδου που διανύουμε, το Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο αποφάσισε την τροποποίηση του άρθρου 7 ως εξής:
Α. Για την εγγραφή:
- Φυσικά πρόσωπα από 200€ μείωση στο 50%, ήτοι 100€.
- Άλλοι φορείς από 500€ μείωση στο 50%, ήτοι 250€.
Β. Ετήσια συνδρομή:
- Φυσικά πρόσωπα: από 200€ μείωση στο 50%, ήτοι 100€
- Εταιρίες έως 50 άτομα: από 1000€ μείωση στο 30%, ήτοι 300€
- Εταιρίες 50-250 άτομα: από 1500€ μείωση στο 30%, ήτοι 450€
- Εταιρίας >250 άτομα: από 2000€.μείωση στο 30%, ήτοι 600€
- Ερευνητικοί & Ακαδημαϊκοί φορείς:από 500€ μείωση στο 40% ήτοι 200€
Ειδικά:
Οικονομικά τακτοποιημένα θα θεωρηθούν μέλη που θα πληρώσουν την εγγραφή και τη συνδρομή για το έτος 2020.
